Sloshing Vibrations with Surface Tension Effects
Abstract eng: It is proposed to present various formulations of vibrations of liquid inside tanks taking into account gravity/surface tension effects. The applications are for reservoirs of satellites. Various variational formulations and numerical finite element applications will be presented together with a discussion on possible fluid damping effects.
