Experimental analysis of contact stresses and contact fatigue


Abstract eng:
The paper is devoted to the analysis of the contact stresses and contact fatigue, especially at the rolls of rolling mils and railway wheels. The experimental and analytical solving of contact stresses between rolls and rolling stocks were performed. The method of photo-elasticity was used for experimental analysis, the finite element method was used for numerical analysis of railway wheels. New testing device is made for the experimental analysis of contact fatigue
