The pressure and kinetic specific energy distribution behind the impeller
Abstract eng: In this article terms for calculation of pressure specific energy in the impeller are derived. Distribution of pressure in the runner outlet is calculated. The influence of local swirl on the pressure blade loading is introduced as well. It is possible to see the negative influence of local swirl in the impeller on production of pressure specific energy by the runner. The total kinetic and pressure specific energy on the outlet of the impeller is obtained by computations.
