Turbulence induced by surface water waves (INVITED)
Abstract eng: Turbulence produced by orbital motion of surface water waves will be discussed. While important across a broad range of ocean engineering, oceanographic and air-sea interaction applications, this is also an outstanding topic of the fluid mechanics. Its theory will be revisited, numerical and experimental results presented, field observations outlined.
