Some conditions for existence of R-waves in an orthotropic elastic half-plane
Abstract eng: In the paper are studied some conditions which are necessary for the existence of Rayleigh (edge) waves in an orthotropic elastic half-plane. A non-zero angle ween body axes x,y and principal material axes 1,2 is supposed. Typical orthotropic materials are then considered as examples.
