Current challenges in upscaling multiphase flows in porous media using the volume averaging method (INVITED)

The talk will start with an introduction of multiphase flows seen in industrial applications. It will be followed by the current state of theoretical development for multiphase flows as proposed using the volume averaging method. The two viscous drag tensors proposed by the theoretical developments will be discussed.
