A model of poro-mechanical damaging material (INVITED)


Abstract eng:
A poro-mechanical model of a damaging material under overall compression state is presented. The damage is characterized by the formation of microstructures in the form of equi-distant parallel faults and characterizes the evolution of the permeability of the material. The model is particularly suitable for engineering applications in soil and rock mechanics.
