T-stress and mismatch constraint for a blunted creep crack


Abstract eng:
A mismatch modified boundary layer (MBL) model with a blunted creep crack is established in this paper. With the mismatch MBL model, the T—stresses within creeping regime under different mismatching factors are discussed. The generalized T—stress is almost independent of radial distance according to the analysis. The stress field of the blunted creep crack in the mismatched MBL is studied. The mismatch constraint effect of the blunted creep crack is also presented. The mismatch constraint parameter for the blunted creep crack is independent of radial distance when the mismatching factor is in a suitable range.
