Microstructure evolution in Cu thin films, investigated by ab- initio and level set modeling

Abstract eng:
Steady state handling characteristics of rear wheel drive (RWD) and front wheel drive (FWD) vehicles are compared. Each configuration is modeled by a bicycle model equipped with a brush tire model, and the nonlinear dynamics are derived through the Appelian framework. The steady state solutions of the nonlinear equations are investigated via numerical continuation for understeer and oversteer scenarios. The results are summarized using bifurcation diagrams for several different steering angles.
