FEM analysis of preloaded ball of ball screw apparatus
Abstract eng: The paper deals with kinematics of the ball screw mechanism as a single point that is moved on helical sweep. The second part studies the motion of the ball as a deflector in dependency on deflector dimensions and ball speed. At the end of the paper is shown contact analysis between ball and helical surface of the nut and screw.
