Experimental measurements of the lumbar spine kinematics
Abstract eng: The purpose of the presented study was the experimental measurement of the lumbar spine stiffness and the range of the motion. During experimental measurement was observed deflection of lumbar spine segment due to moment of flexion and of extension. From measured data was determinate a stiffness of spine segment. In the Laboratory of Biomechanics was developed a new type of total intervertebral disc replacement and results obtained from this experimental measurement was used for design of this replacement.
