An algorithm for corner nodes selection in the FETI-DP method


Abstract eng:
This contribution deals with a selection algorithm of corner nodes in the FETI-DP method. Selection procedure is based on heuristic rules based on the topology of decomposed mesh. The algorithm selects minimal number of corner nodes. The number of corner nodes is possible increase by additional selection procedure. Efficiency of the proposed algorithms is presented on several numerical examples. Simultaneously, the behaviour of the FETI-DP method for various numbers of corner nodes is studied. ´
