Parameter identification of a leaf spring dynamic model


Abstract eng:
The problems of leaf springs behaviour are very complex due to the presence of many factors and influences. Mainly the flexibility, contacts and friction play important roles. The paper deals with the modelling and parameter identification of a leaf spring model intended for vehicle dynamics simulations. The investigated leaf spring is used in the coal wagon multibody model. The presented methodology is based on the experimental measurements of particular leaf spring, the numerical simulations with the multibody models and developed optimization procedures.
