Development of Instrumental Criteria for Intensity Estimate. Some Studies Performed in the Frame of a Nato Project
Abstract eng: A critical view is presented on the state of the art of instrumental criteria specified by macroseismic intensity scales. A different, analytical, system of instrumental criteria (alternatively, global or frequency related) is presented. The results of analysis of a set of records, using alternatively macroseismic criteria and instrumental criteria recently developed, are presented in graphic terms. Conclusions and recommendations are finally presented.
