Application of AR based Manual to Prevention of Human Error

Advances in 3D technology have made it possible to add information to the real environment using a computer. Augmented reality (AR) research has progressed rapidly and machine error has decreased greatly. However, despite thorough training and review, human error has not decreased significantly. Under existing circumstances, occupied by human error for most of a man-made disaster. Furthermore, training of individuals has become increasingly important with the retirement of Japan's baby boom generation. Improvement in skill levels requires an intuitive understanding of the task and repeated practice. In this study, we investigated the applicability of AR in training. In our research, we compared frequently used measures, such as paper-based training and human-based training, with AR-based training. For existing research, Kwang-Ho's experiments using a manual evaluation of building a computer that Tom intuitive, understanding the structure of the computer and was validated against the conventional vehicle, such as web manual work the accuracy of the working paper. This study clearly showed the comparison. However, the sequence of actions was unclear. In contrast, our study added visualization of the actions. Use of such documentation allowed for more intuitive actions, and the speed and understanding of the actions were studied using both the AR manual and the verbal instructions. Working with the AR manual requires less time than that using verbal instructions. However, the rate was well above both the memory and the time required to complete the task using the paper manual, which was less useful. The number of failed attempts, shown in Table 2, indicates that the tasks were relatively easy, but there was a problem with the experimental work.
